Located in Haskell County, TX., the Quantum Clean Energy Project (Quantum I and II) is a solar PV and battery energy storage system co-located with—or built directly alongside—a data center campus for Google, creating the first industrial park stemming from our partnership with Google and TPG Rise Climate announced in 2024. This approach to co-locating energy supply with data center load is a crucial strategy to reduce the need for new infrastructure and optimize existing grid utilization, easing demands on the Texas grid.
The project is designed to generate 640 MW of solar power and includes 1.3 GWh of battery storage. Construction is underway and expected to continue through late spring 2026. We’ve invested nearly $1 million in Haskell County, working alongside local leadership and residents to expand welcoming spaces and beautify the community.
Highlights include funding major park improvements, including a new playground, shaded gathering areas, and space for future community events. We also partnered with Keep Haskell Beautiful for Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup Day, and supported Paint Creek ISD’s Legacy Scholarship foundation, upgrades to the elementary playground, and a range of support for their athletic programs. Additionally, we’ve funded major equipment upgrades for Haskell and Stamford EMS.
