Since Intersect’s inception in 2016, Luke has been a driving force behind the company’s evolution into one of North America’s most ambitious infrastructure companies. He played an integral role in driving Intersect’s rapid rise into one of the nation’s fastest-growing infrastructure companies, with nearly $15 billion in assets operating or under construction.
As President, Luke serves on the investment committee, PAC Board, and Intersect Board. He leverages experience across a broad view of disciplines to support organizational growth and culture, to align leadership at key public and private partners with business plan outcomes, and to channel innovation through collaboration with emerging tech.
Prior to Intersect, Luke spent eight years at Recurrent Energy, where he served as Senior Vice President of Development, overseeing project development and origination across the United States. While there, he helped scale the business from a niche developer into a market leader, with nearly 2 GW of utility-scale generation reaching operation under his leadership.
Luke holds a BA in History and Psychology from the University of Virginia and an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where he focused on strategy and energy. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, and directly supports a collection of annual scholarships in Honduras and at UVA.
Luke lives in California with his family, with whom he enjoys weekend sports, time in the mountains, exploring agriculture, philanthropy, and immersive travel.
